Methodology

Dog obedience is essential if you want your dog to be not only a pleasant member of society, but one which can be taken anywhere and be a true part of the family.

The method used is a positive and reward-based method, using the dog's innate desire for affection, attention, and approval for reward, along with handling techniques.  This method has been intensively researched and developed by The Alpha Canine Group over several decades, and there are thousands of dogs and handlers whose lives have been changed for the better using this technique.  The methodthe past 30+ years and is based on a dog's natural behaviours and responses to their environment.

The techniques are simple to learn, and when applied in a consistent and correct manner can change your dog from being difficult to manage to being a happy, relaxed and obedient member of the family.

The Beta Dogs Dog Training instructor will have their own well trained dog with them (if appropriate) to demonstrate the training techniques and offer proof that a dog can be trained to an exceptionally high standard using the identical methods they are demonstrating.

The aim is to create a line of communication between you and your dog, and by using positive reinforcement Beta Dogs Dog Training can show you how to teach your dog basic obedience exercises, establish patterns of good behavior and work on problems such as fear and aggression.

No dog will be rejected based on age, breed, size or temperament.
