6th August 2020 Update
Private Classes have had to go back on hold from midnight last night. Existing First-time client appointments will be honoured so that you can get started with your training. No new appointments will be made until restrictions are eased. For the upcoming appointments we will have to be working outdoors to reduce the capacity for cross infection. I know this sounds dramatic, but I truly believe we (the general population) are not yet in the clear If you don't have a suitable under-cover space, we will find a sheltered public space to use.
Group Classes were just about to re-start and then we were on hold again. When we can start up again the Group Classes will be held on a Saturday morning at Yuille Park Community College in Violet Grove, Wendouree. We will adhere to the small group numbers and the spacing requirements until otherwise advised.
I understand your frustration and thank you for your patience.
How can we help?
* Is your dog creating havoc in your life? Does your schedule prevent you from getting to group classes?
* Is your dog jumping all over your clean outfit, jumping on guests, knocking over the kids?
* Are you embarrassed to walk your dog? Or perhaps unable to take the dog out at all?
Beta Dogs Dog Training can help you.
Beta Dogs Dog Training offers dog training with a difference. We are located in Ballarat (Vic) and service Ballarat and the
surrounding region. We offer a problem-solving training method that actually works. Regardless of breed, age or
behavioural issues we are willing to work with you to teach your dog what it is allowed or not allowed to do.
Beta Dogs Dog Training offers a personalised dog training service within Ballarat and the surrounding region. We come to
you at home and strive to be flexible with training times. This is ideal for people with full time 9 to 5 work, or people who
work different shifts on a rotational basis.
Beta Dogs Dog Training acknowledges the traditional owners of the Country that we live in and work on, the Wadawarrung and Dja Dja Warrung people, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Dog obedience is essential if you want your dog to be not only a pleasant member of society, but one which can be taken anywhere and be a true part of the family.
The method used is a positive and reward-based method, however no treats are used in our training. This method has been intensively researched and developed by The Alpha Canine Group over the past 30+ years and is based on a dog's natural behaviours and responses to their environment.
The techniques are simple to learn and when applied in a consistent and correct manner can change your dog from being difficult to manage to being a happy, relaxed and obedient member of the family.
The Beta Dogs Dog Training instructor will have their own well trained dog with them (as appropriate) to demonstrate the training techniques and offer proof that a dog can be trained to an exceptionally high standard using the identical methods they are demonstrating.
The key is to create a line of communication between you and your dog, and by using positive reinforcement Beta Dogs Dog Training can show you how to teach your dog basic obedience exercises, establish patterns of good behavior and solve problems such as fear and aggression.
No dog will be rejected based on age, breed, size or temperament.
